Top Golf Schools Arizona

University of golf in the Southwest (CA, AZ, NV, TX), United States?

I am a 4 handicap Junior in high school (junior rhetoric) receiving very good grades, 4.25 GPA, and aspires to play golf in college. I think I have not much chance to get into a D1 team mediocore because I do not do the AJGA, only SCPGA premises (1 win, 5 top 3). So I wondered, what are the decent Golf Schools California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, or the area that have solid training and advanced with a strong team of golf. Somewhere along the lines of a UC San Diego would be preferable. I was thinking of Pepperdine and Arizona, but I'm looking for other schools, especially in Arizona and Texas because I pretty much covered all of California (UCLA as well.)
