Is Tiger Woods 09 good for golf game newbies?

I recently played (and loved) the demo for Tiger Woods 09. Is the demo representative of the full game? Having never played a serious golf game like this before, would I find it too hard, or is it easy to pick up?

Yes it is. It is the best graphics in a golf game and a very easy game control system over past entries.
