Jan Stephenson, who will play for the World Team, began her pro career on the Australian LPGA circuit where she won four events. She designs golf courses (became first woman pro to do so), and was honored among GOLF Magazine’s “100 Heroes” during the 1988 Centennial of Golf in America celebration.
