Golf Themed Wedding

Can anyone help me with ideas for a racing themed wedding?

I’m getting married on April 12th, 2008 and my husband to be is a HUGE race fan! While I don’t want to make the wedding tacky, I would love to incorporate a Nascar or racing theme to the wedding. My colors are already black, white and red. I already ordered a checkered flag garter and ring pillow. I’d love ideas on favors, placecard holders, etc. Any ideas would help any. We are having the wedding at a beautiful golf course and would love it to be as nice as possible. Thanks so much.

The first site is for a cake topper for Nascar.

The second is a site that has different trinkets like little party bags..You could use those for your favours or something. There are also candles that you could incorporate into your centerpieces.

You could also pick or take your favourite drivers colours and pick your wedding colours based on that.

You could number each table using the nascar numbers or drivers.

You could have black and white table linens eg. napkins to look like the checker flag.

Depending on how formal your wedding is you could serve track style food. eg. hot dogs, hamburgers, pop, chips, peanuts.

Well that is all I can think of for right now.
