Difference between japanese & american versions of golf clubs?
I am thinking of buying a set of taylormade burner 2009 irons, graphite, regular flex. My friend told me that it is better to buy a japanese version of the clubs as it would suit my requirements being asian. I am 5.8 ft. tall and age 50 and high handicapper. Is it alright to get an american version. thank you for your reply.
Japanese versions are supposedly cut shorter. Being that you’re 5′8″ and Asian one would think that you should get the Japanese version. I don’t necessarily agree with that. I’m 5′7″ and use off the rack American version Nike irons. Your best bet is to try both out and see which one you like.
