Tips for getting into NYU?
What are some things i should particpate in or do over the summer/next year to give me a higher acceptance rate to nyu?
right now im a sophmore..im doing SAT prep classes and at the moment im trying to start a school club.
i play golf, i have a job, im in the student service orginazation and iv won first place in an art show and have been a published ammateur poet.
im taking a language all 4 years
Im taking AP history, Honors British Lit., Honors Spanish, Algebra 2 and Physics.. right now im on honor roll
what else should i do? and whats the lowest i can get on my SAT’s?
what stands out on a resume
– i want to major in fashion marketing/merchandising and i know that’s not a popular major..does that make it any easier?

Well I’m sure there are students who are in NYU with 1500s, but the lowest reasonable score would be like an 1800(1700 if you’re an urm). go try to maintain a 3.5+ unweighted average, shoot for a 2000+ SAT score, look to do some EC’s which reflect your passion in fashion marketing/merchandising, and write a strong essay, if you wind up completing the following you should definitly have a very strong shot at making it into NYU.
