Golf Big Island Hawaii

What is the best place for me in Hawaii?

I'm in school for training in renewable energy. As part of my studies I have to do an internship anywhere you choose. From Hawaii is one of the largest states in renewable energy goes, and I've always wanted to go, what is the best place for me? I'm addicted to disc golf, and I can find, it seems that the Big Island is my best bet for this, but what is the nightlife? Are there any clubs good rock and electronic music clubs do, or on another island?

Want to go to Oahu. Big Island has no nightlife. Never went to clubs, but Oahu is good areas (Pipeline, Rumors, O Lounge, etc.) Hula is a gay club in Waikiki (relative to the first poster).
