Golf And Tennis Pro Shop

Why are Golf And Tennis usually linked together?

I always see “golf and tennis” pro shops and stuff. Also, many people who play tennis play golf, etc, etc. These sports don’t really have anything to do with each other, so I wonder why they are always mentioned together?
