Beginner Golf Tips For Women

For a beginner female golf player, do I have a chance?

I am in middle school, and I play on the weekends with my school team, and I recently played in my first tournament and received 2nd out of 11 other girls, but I feel it was luck. I have another tournament coming up, and I am nervous, because I am playing with more experienced players.
If you have any tips, I am always searching. O and is it true that women have better chances for golf scholarships?

The longest distance on any golf course is that distance between your ears. Understand? Go out loose and just swing the club like you did last week. It wasn’t luck. You obviously have a lot of skill. Stay loose and be confident. And remember, the 3 foot putt is just as important as the 200 yard drive. Take your time and be patient.

Remember, golf doesn’t create character, it exposes is.
